The

The Governor's Academy is the oldest independent day and boarding school in the United States. We actively seek a student body that is racially, geographically and socioeconomically diverse and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.

Our curriculum places a premium on students taking an active role in their own education. Learning by doing promotes a spirit of inquisitiveness and a deeper understanding of ideas. Our unique location and outstanding state-of-the-art facilities support and enhance this process. Talented and committed faculties put students in the forefront and challenge them to pursue their dreams.

At the core of the The Governor's Academy experience are the life long friendships that develop among peers and between students and faculty. The result is an education that is as innovative and alive as the 21st century and as valuable as the lessons taught by Reverend Samuel Moody in the original Little Red School House two hundred thirty nine years ago.

Mission

The Governor's Academy expects and promotes the individual's active commitment to integrity, learning, academic excellence and the health of the community. Enriched by our unique tradition and beautiful surroundings, we are distinguished by our support of individual growth and achievement in academics, the arts and athletics in a diverse community that values teamwork, service and respect for others.

Acknowledgment

I've been through several database systems, and hands down, this is the best. I've never had more information at my disposal; this program not only gives you the information, it makes it easy to work with it. All the folks at Veracross has been extremely supportive during the transition. i'd recommend this program to anyone.
