We believe that each person is called to deeper union with God. Our school, rooted in the Catholic faith and open to students of all faith traditions, emphasizes the primacy of the call of faith in our lives and invites and prepares students to study and live out their faith in a Catholic school community and in the world beyond the school gates.

We believe that every student is called to scholarship, to learning and to service to others. Our extensive curriculum demands the best of our faculty and students. Our eight subject course load and 17 AP subject areas invite students to explore all the major academic disciplines in a rigorous college preparatory curriculum. Our art programs invite each student to develop their untapped creativity and sensibility and gain an appreciation of the central role the arts can play in a well-lived life. Our students extend their learning opportunities into a thriving athletic program with more than 30 sports teams and more than 20 extra-curricular clubs and service organizations.

Acknowledgment

Before deciding to switch to Veracross, JPII was using a modular collection of independent systems to manage student information, teacher grade books and online parent-student reporting portals. This system contained several different databases that were to be consolidated through a difficult series of exports and imports. The disharmony caused by constantly attempting to keep the multiple databases current with each other caused many problems with data reliability. Our faculy was overburdened with the double data entry required to keep all information as current as possible. Our decision to switch to Veracross was ultimately decided because of its single database design and immediate online live data reporting abilities. Now our teachers need only to enter grade and assignment data once and have it appear in all of the necessary areas within the system and online portals.
