Senior Sales Operation Analyst

Description

Reporting to the Director of FP&A and Strategy, the Sales Operations Manager is a key member of Veracross’ FP&A organization and a key partner to the Sales and Marketing teams. This position will work closely with functional leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance and Product Operations and be responsible for providing visibility into the sales pipeline and bookings forecast, driving insight with key Sales and Marketing operating metrics and analyzing deal pricing and profitability.  This role is based out of our Wakefield, MA office. 

Responsibilities

Sales Operations and Analytics: 

  • Analyze, maintain and monitor the Veracross and Magnus sales pipelines and develop bi-weekly bookings forecasts 
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop KPIs and reporting dashboards to drive insights and action across Veracross and Magnus  
  • Generate Sales & Marketing reports and draw key insights and conclusions to help explain results and trends  
  • Lead regular review of Sales and Marketing metrics 
  • Streamline and optimize the sales process: Analyze sales challenges to recommend and implement solutions. Improve sales velocity by assessing friction points in the sales process, both internally and externally. Improve sales efficiency by analyzing prospect targeting and outreach strategies. 
  • Work directly with Sales & Marketing leadership to improve go-to-market execution 
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing and Finance on deal desk activities (pricing and profitability review and quote assessment) 
  • Manage projects with key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions on topics including forecasting, growth strategy, territory optimization, process improvement and SPIF targets / commissions 

Pricing/Licensing/Product (PLP) Modeling, Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Develop customer and product pricing and profitability models and apply outcomes to new and existing prospect proposals and go-to-market strategies 
  • Develop sales experiments in partnership with the Sales & Marketing, Finance and Product Management teams 
  • Measure and communicate results to the Executive Leadership Team 

Go-to-Market Technology Administration: 

  • Develop and manage Salesforce reports and dashboards and workflows  
  • Drive pipeline management and accuracy by ensuring Opportunities are progressing through the required stages with accurate data 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the technology industry, with SaaS company experience strongly preferred 
  • Advanced Salesforce experience required.  Salesforce implementation experience a plus 
  • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing, pipeline and deal analysis and metrics and ability to create meaningful detailed analyses to inform decision-making 
  • Proven success supporting a fast-paced software sales and marketing team 
  • Highly-organized, detail-oriented, flexible team player who can partner with key stakeholders and work independently in a fastpaced, highgrowth environment 
  • Effective written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with a variety of audiences within the organization. 
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and drive business insight  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Bachelor’s degree
