May 22, 2021 2:00 PM Vietnam (GMT+7), 3:00 AM Eastern Time (ET)

Presented by
Learning Analytics Collaborative and Veracross

Schools collect an endless amount of data from their students and teachers. Yet many schools fail to act on this data due to poor internal communication, data mismanagement, or a failure to present the information in a compelling way.

Megan Brazil, Elementary Principal at the United Nations International School of Hanoi, will share how she developed a culture of data-informed practice across her school.

The webinar will focus on:

  • How UNIS Hanoi developed regular practices for teachers using data visualizations (particularly in literacy) to improve learning and teaching
  • How learning retreats have been used to create data-fluent faculty and staff
  • How students have been impacted by learning retreats
  • How UNIS Hanoi partnered with Learning Analytics Collaborative to transform their data culture

For the last 19 years, Megan has been working in international schools in Colombia, the United Arab Emirates, India, and Vietnam. As a Principal since 2006, Megan has a professional interest in organizational health, distributed leadership, school culture and climate.
