“We did consider the outsourcing methodology, but after meeting with a couple representatives from different providers we backed it up and realized that outsourcing that outsourcing would really be inconsistent with our school culture. We’re a community, we’re not just a business so there is a high-level of caring and engagement with our families and we want to be able to work with them to meet their obligations to the school. That really helps to reinforce the relationships that we have with our constituents.

In some of the conversations we had with those providers, they said, “if you don’t want this family or that family to be part of this system, you can pull those back” but then at a certain point there is no value to the school to outsource, we’d rather be engaged with our families and be talking to them directly.”
